Playboy June 2010: Playboy 3-D centerfolds are now available, starting with Playmate of the year, Hope Dworaczyk. The June edition of Playboy comes complete with the 3-D glasses. Check out pictures and video here.
Playboy is jumping on the 3-D bandwagon, and implementing the technology into its pictures. Now you can see your favorite ladies in the nude, a little bit more life like. A toy for big boys.
Hef said that although he is not a huge fan of 3-D movies, you can’t deny the popularity of it. He says,
“I’m not a huge enthusiast of 3-D. I leave real life to go to the movies and 2-D is fine with me. What would people most like to see in 3-D? Probably a naked lady.”
Magazine sales have dropped by nearly half in the past four years, so perhaps this is a new way to capitalize and regain a new audience. To have and to hold brings a new meaning. You can’t get a life like picture online.
“This particular picture is one example of how books and magazines are different (than computer images). You can hold it in your hands, save them, and as Dad used to, put them under the mattress.”
