If Rosario Dawson was nursing a broken heart, she certainly wasn't showing it on the Cannes red carpet today.
The Men in Black actress looked radiant in a dramatic red strapless gown as she arrived at the festival premiere of film This Must Be The Place earlier tonight.
The 32-year-old actress smiled and posed for photographers, despite reports that she has split with her French DJ boyfriend Mathieu Schreyer.
'I know her close friends did not love his personality. He wasn't that smiley type of guy.'
And according to other sources, Dawson was the one who ended the relationship.
'She broke up with him,' they told the magazine.

Halle Berry’s ex Gabriel Aubry has filed legal documents to declare him the father of 2-year-old Nahla. Aubry filed a petition for joint physical and legal custody and support back on December 30. Based on what we know about Gabriel Aubry, he’s a real prince of a guy.

When the couple split and he left his girlfriend and his baby daughter, a friend of Aubry told RadarOnline.com:
“Gabriel just felt it wasn’t working anymore…when they were first together, the 9-year age difference between them didn’t phase him…but as time went on he started feeling it more and more. Also, Gabriel started noticing other women and being attracted to others, and he felt it just wasn’t right to stay with Halle in those circumstances.”
Excuse me while I gag.
Sounds like Halle Berry needs to lawyer up for a custody battle and things are going to get ugly between Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry. But let’s hope that it doesn’t get too bad for baby Nahla’s sake.
Until December 30, the former couple had left the courts out of their custody agreement but baby daddy Aubry wants to change that.

Chelsea Handler and her beau, Animal Planet hunk Dave Salmoni, have called it quits.
The laugh-out-loud comedian joked during her September 1st monologue, “I have been working for the E! network for over three years now, and in addition to hosting this chucklefest of a show, I’ve given many suggestions on how to improve the quality of their entire network. As you can tell by the current line-up of shows, they have taken none of my suggestions. So I’ve decided to consult for other networks.”
“Up until a couple weeks ago, I was working very intimately with the Animal Planet, but unfortunately, that contract was terminated,” she laughed. “However, I enjoyed being in bed with them and may hook up for an occasional project.” Ha ha! We love it!!!
Chelsea, 35, and Dave, 34, were spotted together last in late August at a concert.

Announcing their breakup over Twitter on April 6, Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy expressed mutual admiration. He wished her the best; she vowed to "always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart."

Talk about a sideshow! While catching a tennis match at the 2006 U.S. Open, the comedian makes his girl crack up. "Our dynamic is great," she told PEOPLE. "I'm very, very happy. It's a lot of laughing."

Carrey holds tight to his lady while walking the red carpet at the L.A. premiere of Yes Man in December '08.

Snuggling on a sandy Hawaiian beach, McCarthy and Carrey watch the sun set during a tropical getaway in June '07. "We like to sit and do nothing," she said. "Stare at the ocean and go 'ohhmmm.'"

It can't get more intimate than this: The funny pair give the cameras a show on a Malibu beach July 4, 2008 – with Carrey squeezing into McCarthy's sexy swimsuit.

With her then-5-year-old son Evan, the trio make a happy bunch at the Horton Hears a Who premiere in March '08 – a few months after McCarthy published her memoir, Louder Than Words: A Mother's Journey in Healing Autism. "Beyond doubt it was written in the stars that Jim and Evan were a pair," she wrote of her son (with ex-husband John Asher).

McCarthy and Carrey – whom she's called the "autism whisperer" – lead the "Green Our Vaccines" march and rally in Washington in June '08. "He taught me how to love," Carrey said of McCarthy's son. "And without Evan I might never have seen the greatness of Jenny's spirit."

Carrey and McCarthy first took their love publicin June 2006 – even holding hands at an L.A. Radiohead show. They "were having so much fun," a concertgoer told PEOPLE. "It was like you were watching a romantic comedy."

The couple and 7-year-old Evan show that it's all about teamwork while in Maui, Hawaii, in July '09. But when it comes to McCarthy and Evan, Carrey's admitted, "I'm a pushover."

Fresh from their beachside cuddle, the couple – who both committed to never remarrying – make it a night out at a West Hollywood party. "I don't need that piece of paper of commitment to prove my love," she told PEOPLE

Carrey and daughter Jane turn out to support McCarthy's autism organization, Generation Rescue, at a July '08 event in L.A. The next year, it's McCarthy who throws Jane a baby shower before the arrival of son Jackson (with hubby Alex Santana).

Just months before their breakup, McCarthy and Carrey spread cheer on the road at the world premiere of the comedian's new movie, A Christmas Carol, in London in November '09.

More than just a wedding date: The duo take a Roman holiday for Tom Cruise and KatieHolmes's star-studded nuptials in November '06.

McCarthy and Carrey seemed very much a team while cohosting a charity poker event in Miami in February. But just two months later, he Tweeted, "I'm grateful 4 the many blessings we've shared and I wish her the very best! S'okay!"

They're grateful for the time they spent together and only wish the best for each other. But for Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy, it's over.

"Jim and Jenny have recently decided to end their five-year relationship," Carrey's rep Marleah Leslie tells PEOPLE.

The two had supported each other through many life events, including the birth of Carrey's first grandchild after the actor's daughter, Jane, gave birth to a son in February.

"I'm so grateful for the years Jim and I shared together," McCarthy, 37, said in a statement. "I will continue to be in his daughter's life and will always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart."
In announcing the split on his Twitter page, Carrey, 48, echoed her warm sentiments. "I'm grateful 4 the many blessings we've shared and I wish her the very best! S'okay!" Carrey Tweeted.

Still, the breakup came as a surprise as the pair had always appeared to be among Hollywood's happiest and most devoted couples.

In February, the two were the picture of happiness publicly. "Jenny is the first person that I’ve been with where I don't have a giant question mark over my head," Carrey told PEOPLE at an event they hosted to support McCarthy's autism organization, Generation Rescue, in Miami. He also discussed their upcoming plans for Valentine's Day, telling PEOPLE, that "everyday is Valentine's Day" with McCarthy.

Over the years, Carrey has also grown close to McCarthy's son, Evan, who has Autism. "He taught me how to love," Carrey said in 2008 at a march in Washington, D.C. "And without Evan I might never have seen the greatness of Jenny's spirit."

For her part, McCarthy has praised her then-boyfriend's devotion to Evan telling PEOPLE, "[He has the] capacity to love and to take on something that most men would completely run away from."

As for McCarthy herself, as early as 2007 Carrey said their romance was the real deal. "We also encourage each other," he said. "We're both on the same path, so it's really real."
