Ray Edwards

Ray Edwards:Several sources have reported via Twitter that Ray Edwards has secured a deal with Atlanta Falcons inked. The contract is reportedly 5 years, $ 30 million dollars, with $ 11 million guaranteed. Edwards had been a productive player for the Vikings, and after paying ransom for hostages Carolina Charles Johnson, it seemed Edwards was in line to get a little Stockholm Syndrome from the Johnson's payday, but Ray deal is significantly lower.
It seemed like a reasonable contract, and one that the Vikings could have given Edwards, it seems that Minnesota did not want Ray to return, and this feeling was mutual.
