The latest buzz doing the round of Bollywood is Ayesha Takia and her restaurateur boyfriend Farhan Azmi will finally get married by February end.

The couple was supposed to tie the knot last year on Christmas Eve but they postponed following the terror attacks in Mumbai on 26/11.

Apparently Ayesha who broke down completely after the Taj attack decided to delay her marriage. Apart from that Farhan’s father Samajwadi Party leader, Abu Azmi was in a hospital recuperating after an operation.

According to a close friend of Ayesha, wedding will take place in Mumbai. However the actress is frantically running around shopping for her trousseau.

Being a professional Ayesha will complete Revathy's film which is woman oriented film after marriage.

The terrible 26/11 Mumbai attacks have changed a lot things for Ayesha Takia as well, just like many others.

If all things had been different, Ayesha would've been busy with her wedding preparations at the moment.

But following the attacks out of respect for the dead and the survivors, she and fiancé, restaurateur Farhan Azmi decided to wisely push their wedding to next year.

The actress had been refusing films for the last six months. She's also been giving sleepless nights to producers and had asked them to wrap up their pending projects with her fast. She has three big releases coming up in 2009- 'Wanted', 'Tasveer' and 'Paathshala'.

But now the lady has changed her stance and has gone ahead and signed a new film!

The actress has taken up south director Revathi Varma's new film. But this director is not Revathy of 'Mitr' and 'Phir Milenge' fame.

Ayesha has reportedly said, "It's a woman-oriented subject and a very interesting concept. It's a sweet story, and is based on the director's life."

At the moment the actress stresses that she isn't disappointed by the postponement and she's unwilling to disclose her wedding date of 2009.

She's added, "As of nothing has been fixed. Let's take it as it comes. The cancellation is nothing compared to the grief the people in Mumbai have faced in the last month. It's better to push my wedding back by a few months than even think of celebrating at a time like this."

Like many sad Mumbaikars, she's not celebrating on Christmas or New Year's Eve celebrations this year.

She's said, "We will sit at home and just spend time with our loved ones."

It's good to see bubbly Ayesha speak like a wise lady!

Ayesha Takia has been the sweet innocent girl next door ever since she made her debut almost four years back.

The 'innocent' image has been so dominant that Jag Mohan Mundhra the director of the Indian version of 'The Forty year virgin' where she was supposed be the lead heroine, is panicking after Ayesha revealed that she intends to settle down and not pursue her career further.

First the other simple girl of B-Town Amrita Rao, walked out of his movie and now Ayesha's retirement plans puts him in a tight spot.

He says that innocent girls in B-Town are rare.

Yes, that's very true since everyone wants to be as bold as the Katrinas, the Kanganas, the Priyankas and the Bipashas of B-Town. It's truly easier for women like that out here!

Even the likes of Minissha Lamba, Gul Panag who only did simple girl acts and even Soha Ali Khan have had sexy makeovers after they made not too many gains being simple and sweet.

Now Ayesha's been lately fighting the flab and has appeared in plenty of inane films like 'Salaam-e-Ishq', 'Kya Love Story Hai', 'Fool and Final', 'No Smoking', 'Sunday' and 'De Taali'. But in 'Dor' she exhibited her talent, and if there were more chances like that, Ayesha might have shone brighter as an actress.

Since she has a biggie with Salman Khan in the form of 'Wanted: Dead And Alive' and another Nagesh Kuknoor (who brought out the best in her) film 'Eight by Ten', chances are people might get to see something interesting from this cherubic faced chick again.

And in the world of the not so innocent, the presence of a demure dame is highly required.

Ayesha might just realize that and decide to work post marriage too!
