'Kelly needs time to grieve': Boyfriend Thom Evans comforts devastated model after she loses baby girl at nearly five months

Kelly Brook has been left ‘devastated’ after losing the baby girl she was expecting with her boyfriend Thom Evans.
The striking model, 31, who was nearly five months pregnant, was rushed to hospital at the end of last week, but tragically suffered a miscarriage.
Miss Brook had announced she was pregnant after just three months of dating former rugby union international Evans.
Last night, Miss Brook was resting at her farmhouse in Kent and a spokesman for the star told the Daily Mail: ‘I can confirm that Kelly and Thom have very sadly lost their baby.
‘They request that everyone please respects their privacy at this very painful time.
‘There will be no further comment.’
A friend said: ‘Kelly is understandably devastated, she’s at home and she’s being looked after by Thom and her mum Sandra.
‘There’s nothing you can say to anyone at a time like this – she just needs to be allowed some time alone to grieve.’
Celebrities were quick to offer their condolences to the couple, with Denise Van Outen writing on Twitter: 'OMG. That's awful news. I'm so sad for them x.'
Dannii Minogue wrote: 'Sending big love to Kelly Brook and Thomas Evans.'

Kelly Brook could barely contain her happiness as she walked down the street with her boyfriend Thom Evans yesterday.
The star, who stunned the world when she announced she was pregnant after just three months of dating, looked as if she wouldn't change a things as she strolled through London with her man.
Then again, the proud-father-to-be looked as if he couldn't be happier either as he alternately held his model girlfriend's hand or clutched her lovingly round the shoulders.

Model and actress Kelly Brook has made the surprise announcement that she's expecting a baby girl with her boyfriend Thom Evans - just months since they started dating.
The 31-year-old beauty confirmed the news on Twitter last night revealing: 'Thom and I are happy to announce we are expecting a baby girl. We are delighted XXXX
Kelly met 25-year-old former rugby international Thom in November and they have been seeing each ever since.
They were first seen together during Kelly's London birthday celebrations in late November last year at The Dorchester, Mahiki and the May Fair Hotel. This will be the first child for both of them.

The sexy star announced the news to fans on her Twitter.com blog on Wednesday (16Mar11), writing, "Thom and I are glad to declare we are having a baby a baby girl. We are pleased."
Brook, who earlier dated Titanic star Billy Zane and action man Jason Statham, was first lovingly linked to Evans in late 2010.
Paradoxically, Evans was a partner of Brook's ex, Danny Cipriani, while playing for the London Wasps between 2004 and 2006.

Kelly Brook has moved to Los Angeles to concentrate on her acting career – but she’s far from lonely in Tinseltown.
She’s been joined by her new boyfriend, former Scotland rugby player Thom Evans.
Thom, 25, also has thespian ambitions and has enrolled in an acting school in LA.
Meanwhile, Gina model Kelly has been busy auditioning for a number of film roles including Mission: Impossible 4.
‘Thom is completely head over heels for Kelly,’ says a pal. ‘He has moved to LA where he’s started acting classes.
‘Kelly is making LA her home and Thom knew if the relationship was to stand a chance he needed to be out there with her. She is overjoyed that Thom made the trip.’
It has been a rocky start for the couple.
Kelly, 31, started stepping out with Thom last November – but then jetted off to the Maldives at Christmas with ex-boyfriend Danny Cipriani.
She has now told friends Thom is the one. ‘They get along really well,’ adds the friend.
‘They’ve got similar goals and want to break into the acting world. Thom has even changed his Facebook status to “In a relationship”.’
Thom’s rugby career ended a year ago when he broke his neck playing for Scotland against Wales and was forced to retire.
