Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York City star Countess LuAnn de Lesseps is getting naked for a guest role on “Law & Order: SVU.” Keep reading for more details on the reality star’s first acting role…

E! Online reports “Real Housewives of New York City” Countess LuAnn de Lesseps will strip down for her role on “Law & Order.”
According to the website, she plays an art collector who’s set on posing semi-nude for an artist.
“I can’t even believe I’m standing in front of Mariska Hargitay and Chris Meloni and reading lines!” LuAnn tells E! Online. “It’s a far cry fromHousewives, isn’t it?”
LuAnn has previously said on the “Real Housewives” she wouldn’t mind posing for Playboy if asked, so it’s no surprise she’s willing to pose semi-nude for the hit legal drama.

LuAnn couldn’t reveal too many details on her role, but did tell E! she has a fabulous wardrobe.
“I play a flamboyant art collector who is gung-ho on posing semi-nude for an artist that’s putting together a show,” LuAnn says. “She has a thing for the artist.”
E! Online reports LuAnn was on set yesterday and says she’ll return next week to film more scenes.
“I think I’m doing a good job because they keep adding lines,” she says.
E! Online asks LuAnn if she’ll sing on “SVU.” The website says LuAnn laughs and tells them, “Maybe next time.”
Although LuAnn won’t be singing on “Law & Order,” she does reveal she’ll perform next season on “The Real Housewives” with a major music icon.
The new season of “The Real Housewives of New York City” will premiere next month on Bravo.

LuAnn de Lesseps made her semi-nude acting debut on 'Law & Order: SVU' Wednesday night. In the episode, Detectives Benson and Stabler investigate a murder tied to an art gallery and walk in on her posing nude for a painter.

Lesseps, who chastised 'Real Housewives of New York' co-star Alex McCord for once posing nude, made a point to note that her strip down was done with class. "I am semi-nude, but it was done tastefully. I do have kids, " she tells PopEater.

But she does admit she was a little self-conscious about stripping down. "Of course, I was nervous ... but they made me feel comfortable," she said, adding it was surreal filming a scene with a veteran star like Mariska Hargitay.
In preparation for the role, she had her boyfriend, French wine distributor Jacques Azoulay, help her. "My boyfriend helped me prepare and read lines with me," she reveals.

As for the final consensus about the role, she admits, "If you're not scared to death, life isn't worth living."
