The news brings blues this week.

• A U.S. military helicopter was shot down by the barbarians in Afghanistan, killing 31 soldiers.  (Hey idiot General over there, did you ever hear the truism about "putting too many eggs in one basket?")  I'd fire that jerk, drop a few H-bombs and pull out all the troops (not necessarily in that order).

• The USA's credit rating was downgraded for the first time in history, and the world will change to a different currency for settling debts.  That will damage our economy even further.  Democrats are complete fools, drunken sailors on steroids, 14 year old kids with a credit card at the mall.  We have to boot their rotten asses out of Washington the first chance we get.  Idea for getting rich:  develop a soccer ball with an image of Obama's ass printed on it.   Sales are expected to be brisk for the first year or so, but are expected to drop off precipitously on Wednesday, November 7, 2012. 

• Black youths are rioting and wilding all over, not just in Wisconsin, but in North London (see here for photos of the devastation) and in Canada.  We must give them more money, welfare, do-rags, rap CD's and then apologize for our racism.  That'll solve the problem.  Actually, blacks are also feeling the pinch of the rotten economy but many do not realize it is of their own making, for voting for Democrats and the idiot-child, Barack Obama.  Of course, drug addiction, crime, violence, school drop-outs, illegitimate children and a really bad attitude probably helped too.  The police should hand out pamphlets to the rioters/looters explaining this before shooting them.

• Idiotic, moronic and mendacious Democrats are trying to blame the U.S. credit rating downgrade on the Tea Parties.  That is ridiculous of course.  The alcoholic who was forced to go cold turkey is now blaming his delerium tremens on the doctor.  Well the alky has a point:  if he didn't have his booze taken away, his hands wouldn't shake so much and he wouldn't now be retching in the alley.  Hey schmuck, you're the one who is hooked on easy credit, and now you have to pay the price.  Actions have consequences:  live with it.

There isn't much to write about today.  Well, the FCC is trying to take control of the internet to enforce something called "net neutrality," which in government-speak probably means ending free speech in digital form.  Once the FCC gets their hands on it, they may figure out some way to end conservative blogs and websites, or at least suppress them somewhat.  They may also be looking for ways to tax the internet and milk the private sector some more.  Government always seeks power and control the way a committed drunk seeks the bottle.  Don't leave your wallet out in plain sight.

South Korea carried out its land, sea and air military drills without any aggression from North Korea.  That's good, but when you are living next door to a violent lunatic, you can never let down your guard.

More Cheesecake

My friends Robert S. McCain and Donald Douglas have both noted the blog-traffic suckage that comes with the holiday season -- people are too busy shopping and imbibing laced eggnog than to read blogs.  Actually, my traffic is up and growing, though my volume is small compared to theirs.  Both McCain and Douglas like to post pictures of cheesecake (meaning scantily-clad, young and beautiful women) to bring up their numbers, and it does work.  Not really my style, though.

The U.S. Census shows population growth in conservative states, that is, those in the South and Southwest (namely Texas), and in those states with no state income tax.  Growth has slowed or ceased in Democrat states.  People are voting for conservatism with their feet.

I finished my Christmas shopping yesterday.  Well, actually, I started it and finished it yesterday morning and it was easier than I feared.  I just walked into a store and started looking around and immediately spied a few items my wife actually needs.  No, I didn't buy her a new mop.  Not even I'm that stupid.

Now all I have to do is wrap the presents in my amateurish way, lots of holiday wrapping paper taped together in a sloppy and crude way with a stick-on ribbon.  There are some things I am just no good at, and wrapping presents is one of them.

There were a lot of weird and interesting events this past week. Here are some of them:

1. The Geert Wilders trial in the Netherlands took a strange twist when the prosecutors of Wilders advised the judges in the trial that Wilders was innocent and that the charges should be dropped. The judges did not drop the charges and were replaced with new judges. The Farce trial of Geert Wilders, who is charged with inciting hatred against Muslims (for telling the truth about them), goes on towards an uncertain resolution. Some observers are stating that they expect the charges to be dropped and Wilders to be freed.

2. A female version of Geert Wilders has emerged, one Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff, a Vienna housewife, who must stand trial for "hate speech." The lady held seminars in Vienna to discuss the dangers of Islamization and the violent nature of Islam. VFR has the story here.

Europe has become a very disgusting place. Not only are they failing to address the Islamic threat, they openly support it with the most extreme form of political correctness. No one is allowed to tell the truth about Islam lest they be tried for "hate speech." If you take the most left wing college campus in America and expand it several hundred times, you have the new and modern Europe.

3. Juan Williams, a liberal black man, was fired from National Public Radio for telling the truth about his anxieties over Muslims on airplanes. Williams quoted the Times Square failed bomber at his sentencing, stating that "America's war with Islam was just beginning." Williams went on to say that because of this, the presence of Muslims in Islamic garb on commercial aircraft make him feel anxious. For that he was summarily fired from NPR, demonstrating once again the psychotic nature of liberalism.  NPR's stunt backfired on them badly, causing a tidal wave of public anger over the firing.  Most Americans have had their fill of speech codes and political correctness.

4. Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany, informed German citizens that Germany was well on the way to becoming an Islamic state (thanks to massive, Muslim immigration). She also stated that in Germany, "multiculturalism has failed." Not only has it failed, she said, it has failed utterly. Merkel went on to say that it is folly to believe that disparate cultures living side by side without assimilating is somehow a good thing. She also stated that Germany is losing its Christian nature and more people are leaving Germany than are entering. Will we learn from Europe's countless mistakes on Islamic immigration, socialized medicine and other follies? Don't count on it.

4. GOP Avalanche predicted for November 2nd. Many are saying that the only thing in question for November 2nd is the size of the Republican tidal wave. Let's hope so, but get to the polls and vote. Take nothing for granted.  We have waited two long, painful years of Obama rule, and now is our chance to strike back!
